Title: Equine Adoption Fair at the Kentucky Horse Park

The Kentucky Horse Park will host its first John Henry Memorial Equine Adoption Fair on June 28. During this event, adoptable horses of various breeds will be available from several local equine rescue and adoption agencies.

The June 28 adoption fair will take place 6 p.m., at the park's Breeds Barn. It is organized in partnership with the MidSouth Pony Club Mega Rally, with the assistance of the Kentucky Horse Council and the Maker's Mark Secretariat Center.

Along with adoptable horses, the event will feature a silent auction benefiting the Kentucky Horse Council's "Save Our Horses" fund, which provides emergency feed and veterinary care to horses in need.

Title: Site back up & forum taken off line

It seems that midsouthponyclub.org was hacked on Friday night. I was notified by email today and have restored all files from backup except for the forum. The hacker used the photo gallery script to "break in" to our site and the forum files are extensive. I want to be sure all is clean before we start to use it again. The photo gallery script (which we barely used) has been removed completely for now. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. - Shelley

Title: HB and H/HA Prep Clinic

Miami Valley is hosting Regional HB and H/HA Prep Clinics at Paxton Farm on April 18-20. There will be opportunities to do some mounted prep work as well for those interested. Details are provided in this flyer. (click here)

Please note that both of these Prep Clinics are regionally sponsored and open to all upper level pony clubbers, especially 2008 candidates for the HB and H/HA national tests. Space is limited however, so interested clubbers need to send their sign-up form and deposit as soon as possible.

As of March 14th, our site has added a second line of menu options. Please feel free to explore! Also this month, we added a new calendar page which lists upcoming events for our clubs. If there is additional information available on these events, you can access it simply by clicking on the event.
